Energy Efficiency in the Southeast Report – Seventh Edition

Power demand is surging. Utility bills are rising. And energy efficiency programs are proven to save households money. So why aren’t Southeastern utilities prioritizing energy efficiency measures that would lower their customers’ bills?

Learn more about how the Southeast is falling behind the rest of the nation in energy efficiency and how utilities could do more to help lower bills for customers.

The Southern Alliance for Clean Energy will release its seventh edition “Energy Efficiency in the Southeast” report this January, illuminating the critical role of utilities and utility resource planning in energy efficiency efforts throughout the region, including Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. The report highlights how proper implementation of energy efficiency can result in a variety of benefits for the utility, program participants, and non-participating customers.
