Join the Atlanta Council on International Relations for an exclusive talk by Dr. Patrick Allitt a Cahoon Family Professor of American History at Emory University. Anxiety about climate change has a long history, including alarms about excessive heat and cold. These concerns rose to a climax in the late twentieth century as industrialization accelerated around the world. Agreements on atmospheric management, starting in the 1960s, showed a shared agreement about the severity of these problems, but enforcement has never been easy. We invite the Atlanta community to join us for a discussion on this critical topic.
