Climate Change, Let’s Talk about it (ENROADS CLIMATE SIMULATOR)

What public policies are most effective at addressing climate change? Planting trees? Reducing air pollution? Electric vehicles? Improved energy efficiency in buildings? Increasing the price of carbon
pollution? More nuclear power? What policies are needed to keep the growth in average global temperature from exceeding the Paris Agreement limit of 2.0°C (3.6°F), and achieve the goal of 1.5°C (2.7°F)? Doug will demonstrate an interactive climate simulator, which grew out of work conducted at MIT Sloan. You will be welcome to ask for a demonstration of solutions you’re curious about. Doug will
suggest some ideas about what each of us can do to bring about a hopeful future.
